Spotting or Bleeding
One of the earliest and positive signs after embryo transfer is bleeding or spotting three to five days after the embryo transfer. Spotting on your toilet paper or in your underwear confirms implantation: that is, the transferred embryo has successfully attached to the lining of the uterine wall. However, the spotting may also occur due to the intake of prescribed hormone medications such as progesterone and not because of pregnancy.
Sore breasts
Another sign of a successful embryo transfer is sore breasts. The embryo’s implantation can turn your breasts tender to touch or swollen. You may also notice the darkening of areolas or tingling in nipples. However, according to fertility experts, the prescribed hormone medications you use during the 14 day wait period can also cause your breasts to get tender.
Cramping
Cramping is commonly known to occur after the embryo has been transferred to the mother. The cramping that you experience is similar to the period cramps. It might also be experienced seven to 10 days after insemination. In addition, discomfort in the pelvic region can also occur due to high doses of gonadotropins and ovum picking up related fluid around ovaries.
Fatigue or tiredness
Fatigue or tiredness are the other positive signs after embryo transfer. This is because the embryo implantation increases progesterone level, which maintains the uterus lining. The increased progesterone often results in so much tiredness. However, fatigue is not always an indication of the success or failure of the transfer. Fatigue and tiredness can be caused by many different factors, such as fatigue from the original IVF cycle morning sickness, and is, therefore, not always a reliable indicator of pregnancy.
Nausea

Bloating
Bloating after embryo transfer generally indicates that the embryo is developing normally and implanted.

Changes in vagin*l discharge

Unfortunately, the changes in vagin*l discharge can also occur due to prescribed progesterone during the 2-week wait, and it has nothing to do with a successful embryo transfer.
Skipped period
A skipped period is also one of the positive signs after embryo transfer. If your menstruation cycle runs like clockwork, a missed period can be another confirmation of a successful embryo transfer. If your periods occur on the same day of each month, the absence of menstruation may indicate that you are pregnant.
Frequent urination
An increased need to pee is another sign you notice after a missed period. It happens due to a hormone called HCG, injected during embryo implantation. HCG raises blood and urine levels in the body and makes you take frequent trips to the bathroom. On the other hand, if frequent urination is accompanied by other symptoms such as painful urination and bleeding, you can immediately see your doctor as it can be a sign of urinary tract infection.
Elevated temperature
Elevated temperature, also known as an implantation dip, is another sign of pregnancy after embryo transfer. A rise in the mother’s basal body temperature can be indicative that she is pregnant, but it should not be assumed to be a definitive confirmation.
Pain in the abdominal region
Pain in the lower back after embryo transfer could be caused by the embryo moving and pressing on your lower back. Dizziness, pin and needles, and pain in the abdominal and lower back result from ovarian stimulation and endometrial preparation, which means that the embryo is implanted successfully.
No symptoms
If you are not experiencing any of the symptoms stated above, it doesn’t necessarily mean the failure of your embryo transfer. The presence or absence of these signs and symptoms are non-specific and do not predict pregnancy outcomes.
