Alright, let's talk dating apps in 2025. If scrolling through Reddit or just chatting with friends is any indication, you've probably noticed a vibe: People are feeling... tired. There's a definite sense of burnout, thanks to endless swiping, cookie-cutter profiles, and the sinking reality that we're all just competing in an oversaturated market for a first date that might go nowhere. Some folks are even arguing that you're better off deleting the apps and trying your luck IRL.

Despite the fatigue and the very valid critiques, dating apps are still massively popular. Fresh research from SSRS found that nearly 40 percent of U.S. adults have tried an online dating site or app, and 7 percent are currently using one. Unsurprisingly, usage peaks among 18-to-29-year-olds, with 65 percent having used them and 16 percent actively swiping right now.

SEE ALSO:

How to protect your mental health while using dating apps

So, even with the love/hate relationship many have, these platforms remain one of the main ways people connect. And it seems users are often looking for something substantial — that same SSRS study showed shared family values (cited by 57 percent) as the most important factor for users when matching online, ranking higher than politics, religion, or even hobbies. (Though men still rate physical attractiveness pretty highly, second only to family values).

What's the best dating site or app in 2025?

Dating apps can be a lot, and with so many options, it's easy to feel overwhelmed. While a few big names (usually under the Match Group) consistently top the usage charts, the "best" app really depends on who you are and what you're looking for.

According to that 2025 SSRS research, Tinder is the most-tried app overall (used by 46 percent of those who've ever dated online), followed by Plenty of Fish (29 percent), Bumble (26 percent), and Match (25 percent). But popularity shifts with age: Tinder (73 percent) and Bumble (45 percent) are the clear favorites among 18-to-29-year-olds who've dated online. Meanwhile, users aged 50 to 64 are more likely to have tried Match (45 percent) and eHarmony (35 percent).

It's not just about the user stats, though. For example, First Round’s On Me (FROME) is a newish app that's gained popularity for its date invitation feature. Choose a drink, date, time, and venue, and the app will send a personalized invitation to your potential match. Once a date is confirmed, it's locked into both users' calendars, and the in-app chat feature is activated 12 hours before the date.

Other apps like Pure cater to people open to ethical, non-monogamous relationships or threesomes. There really is something for everyone, including more traditional dating apps like eharmony, Facebook Dating (think Tinder Lite, for your grandma), and Christian Mingle, which swap endless scrolling for compatibility quizzes and faith-based connections.

The best dating apps of 2025

We take dating app research seriously here at Mashable. To find the best options for every kind of dater — whether you're an introvert, a single parent, on a budget, a busy professional, or part of the LGBTQ+ community — we subjected ourselves to potential thumb cramps and dove in. We created profiles, swiped (and swiped, and swiped), and even paid for premium features to see what's truly worth it. We factored in our own experiences, user reviews, privacy considerations, and overall ease of use to build this guide.

Good luck out there.

Hinge

Best dating app overall

Go to Hinge

The Good & The Bad

  • Browse potential matches without any pressure to commit
  • You can sign up without linking a Facebook login
  • The free version's limited daily swipes encourage more thoughtful connections
  • Hinge lets you express yourself with personalized profiles and creative prompts
  • There are tons of ways to connect, including voice notes
  • Inclusive platform that offers multiple gender options
  • "Hidden Words" feature lets you control what words, phrases, and emojis are or aren't in your incoming Likes with Comments
  • The free version is limited (e.g., only eight free "likes" per day)
  • Hinge isn't desktop-friendly
  • Some Hinge users might be on multiple platforms
  • Paid features can add up quickly
  • The app no longer offers video chat

Who it's for

Hinge isn't your traditional dating app: It's geared toward younger adults in their 20s and 30s who are tired of swiping and more interested in starting a real conversation. Approximately 49 percent of Hinge users are between 18 and 29 years old, and only 2 percent of users are over the age of 50.

Hinge is ideal for younger singles who want to bypass the BS and meet a potential match who's looking for something more meaningful.

Why we picked this

Famous for its tagline "Designed to be deleted," Hinge offers several features to help you find a compatible partner and get off the app for good. Compared to apps often known for casual hookups like Tinder, Hinge encourages users to make a deeper connection (though casual encounters can still happen here, most users seem to be looking for something more substantial). Plus, unlike some other relationship-focused platforms, Hinge offers a feature-rich free version, making it genuinely possible to find a great relationship without emptying your wallet.

The core of the ~Hinge experience~ lies in its detailed profiles. Instead of just a few photos, you build yours using prompts (aka built-in conversation starters) that cover personality, beliefs, dating intentions, hobbies, and more. You can add polls, video clips, and audio notes to really showcase who you are and attract someone compatible.

Hinge's newest features include "Your Turn Limits" to gently nudge users and prevent chats from stalling and an AI-powered "Prompt Feedback" tool that offers suggestions to help you refine your profile answers.

More recently (February 2025), Hinge launched "Match Note." This forward-thinking feature lets you share a private note (up to 255 characters) after you match but before the chat opens. It could be about your communication style, identity, accessibility needs, relationship expectations, or whatever else you'd like your matches to know right away.

Our review

Check out our full review of Match.

Who it's for

Match, the flagship app from Match Group, is a go-to dating app for people in their 30s and 40s who are looking for a long-term relationship, but aren't quite ready to walk down the aisle just yet.

In terms of age, Match has a diverse user base, with 25 percent falling below the 30 mark, but it's a popular dating app for people in their mid-30s to mid-40s, too.

Why we picked this

Match offers several premium features, including unlimited likes and the ability to see who's viewed your profile, which can increase your chances of finding a compatible partner. Plus, Match is serious about cracking down on fake profiles. Now, you need to upload three photos to set up your dating profile, which helps ensure a safer and more authentic dating experience.

Despite being in a current lawsuit (yes, this is still happening) over locking "users into a perpetual pay-to-play loop" and encouraging "compulsive," gambling-like behavior among its users, Match Group is still a behemoth in the dating app industry.

The lawsuit argues that Match-owned apps “employ recognized dopamine-manipulating product features” to keep users engaged and addicted — and Gen Z and TikTok are eating up every word of it. The anti-dating-app agenda has become so big that the term "boysober," which refers to abstaining from dating apps, emerged as a trending hashtag on social media platforms in 2024.

But Match Group CEO Bernard Kim doesn't seem worried. In an April 2024 article for Fortune, he writes, "Unlike social media platforms, dating apps are not designed to maximize your time on the platform," adding, "The business model does not rely on ad revenue to be successful, so optimizing for engagement doesn’t provide a benefit."

The Good & The Bad

  • It's free to sign up and get started
  • Its user base consists of singles who are serious about finding a lasting relationship
  • The app often offers discounted plans to fit your budget
  • eharmony is becoming a more inclusive space for all singles, including those in the LGBTQ+ community
  • The company has a high success rate, giving you a real shot at finding love
  • There's a low (but not zero) chance you'll receive NSFW messages
  • The free version has limited functionality
  • The detailed profile setup can be time-consuming for some
  • eharmony has a history of catering to a more conservative user base, though it's becoming more inclusive
  • eharmony's subscription costs can be higher than some other dating apps

Our review

Check out our full review of eharmony.

Who it's for

eharmony is a popular dating app for people looking for serious relationships and long-term commitments. Think in-depth personality quizzes, curated matches based on core beliefs, and a community where commitment isn't just a word; it's the foundation.

The user base leans towards established professionals in their 35-54 prime, but that means you're surrounded by folks who know what they want: a fulfilling partnership to build upon. So, if you're out of your 20s and ready to settle down, are conservative, or value religion in your dating preferences, eharmony might be worth looking into.

Why we picked this

eharmony has been a major player in the online dating world since August 2000, and for good reason. It's our top pick for marriage-minded singles because, well, it actually works.

While the compatibility quiz can be a bit introspective, that's how eharmony finds you someone who truly gets you. (Just think of it as a relationship investment – you put in the time upfront, and you reap the rewards later.) The site recently got a fresh new look, complete with a new heart logo symbolizing its 32 dimensions of compatibility and a more down-to-earth approach to relationship questions.

Although historically non-inclusive, eharmony has made so many changes in recent years to be more inclusive and cater to the LGBTQ+ community that the app has angered the conservative Christian group One Million Moms. They're so angry they've posted a petition calling the company to take their LGBTQ+-friendly ads off the air, claiming that eharmony is "glorifying sin" and promoting an agenda.

But their threats haven't affected the company in the slightest. Last October (in celebration of National Coming Out Day, no less), eharmony teamed up with GLAAD to create a report on how dating apps influence the ways LGBTQ+ folks express their identities in their dating lives.

Our review

Who it's for:

OkCupid (also a part of the Match Group) is a popular dating app for singles who aren't afraid to share their opinions on social and political issues. With 22 gender identities and 12 sexual orientations, OkCupid welcomes people of all gender identities and orientations. Plus, with the option to list your pronouns, you'll be more likely to be addressed correctly.

Why we picked this:

OkCupid is great for people who value inclusivity, want to express themselves authentically and enjoy a meaningful connection. The site's commitment to offering 22 gender identities and 13 sexual orientations and allowing users to choose their pronouns makes it a welcoming space for all.

If you're a non-monogamous user, you'll only be shown to — gasp — other people interested in non-monogamy. These are only a few features that give OkCupid a better understanding of the modern dating landscape than its other longtime competitors.

Users can answer deal-breaker questions about hot-button topics like politics and vaccines to weed out incompatible matches. The algorithm that matches users is based on how similarly they responded to questions during sign-up, giving users a compatibility score and details on where they disagreed.

According to Michael Kaye, the app's Director of Brand Marketing and Communications, OkCupid used generative AI (ChatGPT) to update its matching questions at the beginning of last year. This, of course, led to media coverage, increased website traffic, and user engagement.

“OkCupid matches people on what matters to them through in-app matching questions," Kaye said in a statement. "At the beginning of last year, we decided to have ChatGPT write our matching questions for us, and the chatbot-generated questions have been answered almost 4 million times."

Tinder

  • The interface is super intuitive and easy to use
  • Tinder's extra fun while traveling
  • Premium features include Tinder Gold, Tinder Plus, Boosts, and "Super Likes"
  • There's a massive user base regardless of where you are
  • People looking for hookups will probably say so in their bio
  • The free has some flaws, like limited likes and a barrage of ads
  • Tinder's "algorithm" is basically just throwing spaghetti at the wall and seeing what sticks (Don't expect any magical matchmaking here)
  • The amount of swiping is begging for carpal tunnel syndrome
  • While you might find your soulmate on Tinder, it's not exactly known for its long-term success stories

Our review

Read our full review of Tinder Platinum.

Who it's for

Ah, Tinder. It's the OG swiping app that changed how people meet (for better or, arguably, sometimes worse). With roughly 50 million monthly users globally and over 100 billion matches made since launch, we couldn't not mention it.

Its reputation? Primarily as the go-to hookup app for casual dating, quick meetups, and maybe a steamy one-night stand. While it's possible to find lasting love here (one Mashable editor did meet his long-term partner on Tinder years ago), that's often the exception — users generally approach it with a different, less commitment-focused mindset than on apps like Hinge or Match.

Why we picked this

Tinder's straightforward formula is well-known: Swipe right if you're interested, left if you're not. A mutual right swipe makes a match. It's effective, widely copied, and keeps things moving fast. Recognizing profiles needed more depth, Tinder has since added Hinge-style prompts as conversation starters. There's also a Matchmaker feature allowing you to invite friends (even non-users) to suggest profiles for you.

Acknowledging that not everyone is just looking for "Short-Term Fun," Tinder beefed up its Explore page. This section curates profiles using tiles based on declared dating intentions or interests, so you can filter for categories like "Serious Dater," "Non-Monogamy," or "New Friends," theoretically connecting you with people on the same page.

Whether you're filtering for "Serious Daters" or mingling IRL, eventually, you need to actually, you know, talk to someone. Maybe that's why Tinder launched its latest experiment: "The Game Game," a limited-time, AI-powered chat experience (using OpenAI's voice tech) that throws you into quirky flirting scenarios with an AI persona. It gives real-time feedback on your charm (or lack thereof), essentially offering a low-pressure virtual practice ground for your dating game.

Our review

Check out our full review of Bumble Premium.

Who it's for

Bumble is a dating app that puts women (and non-binary users) in the driver's seat. The app's unique selling point from the beginning was that women have to make the first move, so if you're a woman who's tired of receiving unsolicited messages from men on other mainstream dating apps, Bumble could be the solution you're looking for.

Why we picked this

Unlike most dating apps, Bumble flips the script, putting the power to initiate contact in the hands of women and non-binary people. This unique feature helps filter out unwanted messages and creepy encounters they often face on other dating apps.

Bumble's “Opening Moves” feature gives women and non-binary people the option to choose a prompt question or create their own message. The app also updated its Dating Intentions section to include “ethical non-monogamy” and “intimacy without commitment.” The 24-hour time limit for responding to matches before they disappear is still in place to encourage engagement and prevent ghosting. And you can still use Bumble Bizz and Bumble BFF to expand your professional and social networks.

In January, Bumble announced that Whitney Wolfe Herd is returning as CEO. After a brief stint with Lidiane Jones at the helm, Wolfe Herd is back to lead the company she founded. This change comes after a period of declining growth for Bumble, and it seems the company is hoping Wolfe Herd's return will revitalize the app and bring it back to its former glory.

Coffee Meets Bagel

Best dating app for young professionals

Go to Coffee Meets Bagel

The Good & The Bad

  • CMB delivers a curated batch of potential matches to your inbox every day
  • The app's thoughtful prompts and icebreaker questions make it easy to get the conversation started
  • With a limited number of matches per day, CMB feels more intentional and less overwhelming than other dating apps
  • You'll only get five matches per day with the free version
  • There's an uneven gender split
  • It has a smaller user base than other dating apps
  • It's kind of expensive for the bland features it offers
  • CMB isn't great for people who live in small towns

Who it's for

Coffee Meets Bagel is ideal for people who are tired of endless swiping on other dating apps and prefer a more curated selection of potential matches. It's also great for those who are looking for a serious relationship, as the app's algorithm focuses on quality over quantity and encourages users to take the time to get to know each other before meeting in person. (It's kind of like EliteSingles without the pretentious air.)

The app's "Ladies Choice" feature empowers women to make the first move and only receive messages from men they've liked.

Why we picked this

Grabbing coffee is the low-pressure date idea that lets you skip trying to choose a dressy-but-not-too-extra outfit for a concert or a restaurant. Coffee Meets Bagel is like the "grabbing coffee" version of dating apps, aiming to bring an easygoing atmosphere to folks who might just be a little rusty. The now-successful Shark Tank bust is one of those rare dating apps that actually gets decent feedback on Reddit. Every profile shown to men has already been okay-ed by the women, so the chance of getting unsolicited messages from creepy guys (or the worry of being seen as creepy) is less likely.

Each day, you'll receive anywhere from five to 21 curated matches depending on your gender, preferences, location, and whether or not you're a premium member. The algorithm curates these "bagels" based on your preferences and the bagels you weren't hungry for in the days prior. If you're in the mood to search more once you've gone through suggested matches, you can always check out more users nearby under the "Discover" tag.

HER

Best dating app for queer women

Go to HER

The Good & The Bad

  • You can join the HER community and start connecting with other women and queer folks for free
  • The app is designed for the 2SLGBTQ+ community (designed for lesbian, bisexual, non-binary, pansexual, and queer people)
  • HER offers IRL and virtual events in select cities
  • You can choose one or more niche tags, like "newly out," "polyamorous," "feminist," etc.
  • It's somehow full of users complaining about being single
  • Too many unverified profiles and catfishes
  • Free version is limited (e.g., it can only filter by age and location when searching) and includes ads
  • Not available on desktop

Who it's for:

Let's be real: Even the best dating apps leave a lot to be desired for gay women. That's why many queer people prefer to use apps designed just for them. If that sounds like you, HER is a dating app designed specifically for LGBTQ+ people, queer women, and non-binary individuals seeking a safe and inclusive online dating experience. Unlike other dating apps, HER is not just an afterthought or an add-on for queer women. It's a space that centers their experiences and allows them to connect with other like-minded people in a fun and meaningful way.

Why we picked this:

If you're a queer woman looking for love, chances are you've had your fair share of frustrating experiences on heteronormative dating sites. Between straight people looking for threesomes and creepy men pretending to be women, finding a safe and inclusive space to meet potential partners can be tough. That's where HER comes in. Designed by and for queer women, this award-winning app offers a refreshing alternative to mainstream dating sites.

With a rapidly growing user base of over 4 million, HER is quickly becoming the go-to app for queer women who want to expand their dating pool beyond their existing social circles. And with cool profile features that let you get creative with your gender, sexuality, pronouns, and diet preferences, HER makes it easy to express your authentic self.

Grindr

Best dating app for gay men looking for a hookup

Go to Grindr

The Good & The Bad

  • It's free to sign up and get started
  • You can usually find hookups within an hour
  • There are tons of safety features available (for travelers and users in general)
  • The "Roam" feature lets you temporarily set your location to somewhere new before a trip
  • The app may be glitchy from time to time
  • There isn't a desktop version for free users
  • There have been reports of occasional biphobia and hate towards queer women
  • The level of NSFW is jarring
  • There have been data breaches in the past

Who it's for

Grindr is the dating app for gay men. And while queer guys have more options in 2025, Grindr is still the go-to app for millions of gay and bisexual men seeking men. If you've had enough of the mainstream dating apps, Grindr is the perfect place to be yourself.

It's also a great option for those who want to experiment with their sexuality, as Grindr allows users to filter their search by sexual preferences, including bisexual men. Keep in mind that Grindr is a very NSFW environment where many guys go purely for casual hookups. You might get lucky and meet your soulmate on the app, but that's generally not why people use Grindr,

Why we picked this

Grindr has been the top dating app for gay men since 2009, and that's because finding someone to talk to is damn near-instantaneous. Instead of swiping right or left to match, the app uses geolocation to connect users with nearby guys. Grindr is especially useful for men in small towns with a limited queer population as they are more likely to find a connection here than on other dating apps like Tinder or OkCupid.

While the abundance of users can be overwhelming, it also means that there's a large pool of men ready to chat and more. Most users just looking to hook up will tell you that they're not trying to make small talk, and that warning may come in the form of a dick pic.

That's not to say it's not for relationships —a lot of men do meet their forever person on Grindr — but on the surface, it's a tool for quick, casual encounters. If you're seeking something more serious, you can adjust your filter to look for "dates." Keep in mind, though, that this will significantly decrease the number of potential matches. In March, Grindr added a feature called "Profile Hide" to deal with the potential awkwardness of seeing an ex, your boss, co-worker, or whoever else you'd rather not see your Grindr profile. It lets you preemptively make your profile invisible to specific users you haven't chatted with and hides them from your grid.

To bring a little more reality to the grid, Grindr released "Taken on Grindr." If someone snaps a pic using the Grindr camera inside the app, they get the option to add a small watermark showing it was "Taken on Grindr" plus a timestamp (like "just now" or "3 days ago"). It's not mandatory, so don't expect it everywhere, but seeing that little badge offers a bit more confidence that the photo is recent and actually from the person.

Pure

Best anonymous dating app

Go to Pure

The Good & The Bad

  • It's free to sign up and get started (and totally free for female users)
  • Anonymity is guaranteed
  • It's ideal for hookups and anon sex
  • The app has an artsy design and a modern layout
  • Everything is deleted after 24 hours
  • It has stellar reviews in the App Store
  • You get one photo and a short tagline – that's it
  • With such limited profiles, catfishing is definitely a risk
  • Your profile disappears after 24 hours, so be prepared to re-upload photos and re-write your bio... every. single. day.
  • Pure's subscription cost is a bit steep
  • If you're not in a major city, Pure might not be the app for you

Who it's for

The Pure dating app is designed for people who are looking for casual hookups with no strings attached. It's for those who want to cut straight to the chase without dealing with the hassle of traditional dating apps and those who value their privacy and anonymity.

It's also totally free for female users.

Why we picked this

Think Pure as in a purely physical experience. This is the place to find a local booty call who won't try to text you earlier than midnight. App rules urge you to "pretend like you're strangers afterward," making no-strings-attached the only name of the game here. This super millennial app is a sex-positive, 18+ safe space with some pretty cool art — the blueprint of the truly modern hookup app. Just be sure to communicate your boundaries in your bio.

Your selfies, bio, conversations, matches, and likes self-destruct every 24 hours, promoting spur-of-the-moment, borderline anonymous hookups. No nudity is allowed in your albums, and any photos sent in messages can't be saved. (As the dry-humored comics on their website state, "Don't talk about your problems. Problems are for therapists. Pure is for fun.") The app will ask for your phone number, but that's to make sure you're a real person.

PURE gives all the feels of a sex-based site without the obnoxious naked parts and porn ads everywhere. (Cough *AdultFriendFinder* cough) Running into bots and people trying to make money is likely, but the spammy stuff isn't nearly as rampant as traditional hookup sites.

  • It has a large user base

Our review

Read our full review of Zoosk.

Who it's for

If it weren't for all the dead profiles (and out-of-date interface), Zoosk could be a dating app suitable for people looking for a diverse and active dating pool. Still, unlike most other apps on this list, it's not owned by the Match Group.

Why we don't recommend this

With such little focus on details past physique or distance, it's natural to question how the site builds any real foundations. Admittedly, something Zoosk did worked at one point, as the site keeps a meticulously updated list of couples who met through the site with news of new engagements and marriages — but the latest post is from June 2020.

Still, there's no denying that Zoosk is a zombie land of dead-end profiles and somewhat boring design (that looks straight out of 2009 on its mobile version). We guess some 35 million people use Zoosk because it's easy — there are no long questionnaires required to build your profile, and you have free reign over how to go about approaching matches. But being on the site also feels like witnessing an identity crisis — it's hard to tell if Zoosk wants to be taken as a place for hookups or a place to find something more serious.

When Zoosk switched from a social media app to a legit dating site, it was more or less in a league of its own. Incorporating "liking" photos and having a similar look to a Facebook feed was super attractive to young, single people... in the early 2000s. The problem is that Zoosk hasn't changed much since then.

How we tested

To help you find the best dating app for your needs, this guide's recommendations rely on hands-on testing by Mashable staff writers and expert freelance reviewers. We create active profiles, test all available features (both free and premium tiers), engage in typical user interactions, and assess the overall usability based on our findings.

We also take user feedback from public reviews and online forums into account. Key considerations for our recommendations include app functionality, user safety measures, transparent privacy practices, and the quality of the user experience.

Feeld Status (April 2025): We're currently holding off on recommending Feeld. Its December 2023 update introduced persistent bugs and user reports concerning location data vulnerabilities that impact safety. Until we see clear evidence that these issues have been resolved, Feeld will remain off this list.

Frequently Asked Questions

Hinge is our top pick among the big dating apps (with Match coming in at a close second). Sure, Tinder is great for casual hookups, but if you're looking for something that'll last longer than just a swipe, Hinge and Match are the way to go. Both of these apps give you the opportunity to create a detailed profile to help you stand out from the crowd, rather than surface-level information that doesn't always lead to a connection.

If you're hoping to hear wedding bells in the near future, eharmony might be your best option. It's designed for people who are ready to settle down and are looking for long-term, committed relationships.

Commitment doesn't always have to end in marriage, though; several dating apps cater to singles looking for real love. Match, Hinge, and OkCupid are all solid options for people in their 20s to late 40s.

Older adults (anyone in their 50s and up) should also consider platforms like SilverSingles, EliteSingles, and SeniorMatch.

HER is probably the best dating app for lesbians and queer women looking for a meaningful relationship (though you can find other types of relationships there, too). While other apps might include LGBTQ+ folks, HER is specifically designed for the sapphic community. Plus, it has tons of free features that you usually have to pay for on other apps.

The answer to this question depends on what you're looking for and who you are. Bumble puts women and non-binary folks in the "driver's seat" by allowing them to make the first move, which can lead to more intentional connections (and fewer creepy messages from randos). Tinder, the OG swiping app, is known for its hookup-friendly reputation and massive user base.

Bumble usually attracts people looking for something more substantial than a one-night stand, but that's not to say Tinder can't be used to find your person. As mentioned, the user base is massive, and not everyone is looking for a cheap thrill.

Ultimately, the best app depends on your personality and dating goals.

We're huge fans of Hinge (that's why it's our top pick for the best dating app overall). With Hinge, you can customize your profile with prompts, videos, photos, and audio clips — you can basically create a mini-documentary about yourself. While Bumble's "Opening Moves" feature is cool, it's not for everyone. Bumble can be a great option for women who prefer to take the initiative or are tired of getting bombarded with messages, but you may see a lot of the same faces you see on Tinder there.

Like most dating apps, Bumble offers a free version. But it's not very impressive. You'll need to purchase a premium membership to see who's liked you (if the two of you haven't already "liked" each other, that is).

Several dating apps offer "free" features, but there's usually a catch. If you want a totally free experience, we recommend Archer (a newish dating app for gay men), Lex (a queer dating app focused on community), or Pure (free for female users). Tinder is also a popular choice for its huge user base.
