spark plug firing order

i was able to find know the firing order for the distributor, but i wanted to be certain the wires were corrected to the right plug. Is the order for the spark plugs 1 3 4 2 ?

Nearly every modern [& Jeep is modern?] four cylinder engine firing order is 1-3-4-2 with 1 @ the radiator or front end. The distributor rotor must be in correct position relative to the piston & valves of the cylinder to be firing.
e.g. No. 1 TDC compression you need to have rotor pointing to No 1 plug wire & points just cracking.

1 -3 - 4 - 2 and the dizzy turns counterclock wise so install them in that order CCW.

#1 would be at the 5:30 position so the oiler is on a slight angle.
