Sign In to the Cloud
Account and License Requirements
Access to the MathWorks® Cloud requires a MathWorks Account.For access to all the features of MATLAB® Mobile™, you must havea valid MATLAB license:
This license must be linked to your MathWorks Account.
Your license must be current on MathWorks SoftwareMaintenance Service.
Without a license, you can still use MATLAB Mobile with limited functionality, as long as you have a MathWorks Account.
If you do not have a MathWorks Account, the application allows you to create one. If you have a license, you can link your license to the account. Alternatively, create an account at the MathWorks website, http://www.mathworks.com, and then follow these steps to link your license with your account:
Go to MathWorks License Center. You might have to sign in to your MathWorks Account first.
Click Link a License, and then follow the instructions.
If you do not have a user ID for your account, the applicationprompts you to create one. The user ID becomes part of the identifiersfor your output and session information.
On the Cloud, you can run commands for MATLAB and all other MathWorks products that your license includes. For information about limitations that affect running commands, see Limitations.
Connect from Your Device
Start the MATLAB Mobile application.
Sign in to your MathWorks Account when prompted, if you have not done so previously.
MATLAB Mobile automatically connects your device to the MathWorks Cloud.
Cloud Storage
The MathWorks Cloud provides you with 5 GB of Cloud storage for MATLAB files, data, figures, and variables.
Unless you explicitly close or clear them, figures and variables that you create on the Cloud persist for 6 hours after you exit the application, and are available the next time you connect. The best practice is to close figures and clear workspace variables that you no longer want. If more than 6 hours has passed, your next sign on loads a fresh session with an empty workspace and no figures.
Sign Out from Your Device
To sign out and remove your account information from the application:
Tap the menu bar and then tap your user name.
Tap Sign Out.
