Bring back your childhood memories with a batch of these delicious Orange Creamsicle Popsicles. Quickly prepared in a matter of minutes then pop it in the freeze until firm, you'll be enjoying these creamy and tangy popsicles in no time!
OMG guys, if you haven't had one of these orange creamsicle popsicles yet, then you are missing out! Made with just 5 simple ingredients, these sweet popsicles are such a delightful refreshing treat.
A delicious treat that reminds me of summer, these orange creamsicle popsicles will make you feel like a kid again (or have your kids think you're a hero!). Odds are you already have these ingredients in your fridge and if you don't, they're easily found at any local grocery store.
We like these as much or more than these lemonade popsicles (which are ultra refreshing and delicious too).
While it might be easy to just buy popsicles at the store, I much prefer making my own. I get to control what goes into these and can skip filler ingredients, stabilizers, and lower the sugar!
Plus, I know they taste good this way. And if you want to get super fancy, mix in some pieces of candied orange peel.

Why This Recipe Works
- Between the 10 most popular store bought orange creamsicle popsicles, they contain only ¼ cup of added sugar. You can even put less in if you prefer. Give it a taste before adding all ¼ cup and decide for yourself.
- It doesn't require a lot of hands-on work. It goes from blender to popsicle mold and you don't have to worry about anything else!
- You can easily modify this orange creamsicle popsicle recipe to be vegan friendly or dairy-free.

The Ingredients
For this homemade creamsicle popsicle recipe, you won’t believe that you only need five simple ingredients!
Frozen Orange Juice Concentrate — This is what gives you that delicious orange flavor. While you might be tempted to use freshly squeezed orange juice, your hands will be tired squeezing it all by hand and the orange flavor won't be as concentrated in the popsicles.
Milk — I suggest using whole fat milk for the best results.
Vanilla Yogurt — The vanilla yogurt is used to help make this creamsicle creamy!
You will also need popsicles molds or ice cube trays (for mini popsicles) to make this recipe.
The full list of ingredients can be found in the recipe card at the bottom of the post.
Step By Step Instructions
Combine orange juice concentrate, milk, yogurt, sugar and vanilla in a blender.
Blend on medium low speed until fully combined.
Pour into popsicle molds and allow to freeze for at least five hours or overnight before serving.
Expert Tips
- Use whole milk for the best results.
- Use any size popsicle holder - you can even use ice cube tray and make mini popsicles.
- Try to enjoy these popsicles as soon as possible. While they can last a while in the freezer, the popsicle molds aren't 100% airtight and can lead to freezer burn on them over time.
- If you don't have a blender, you can use a food processor instead.
- If you want to get really fancy or want to eliminate any alcohol, you can use vanilla bean or paste instead of extract.
Recipe Variations
- Substitute grapefruit juice, tangerine juice, lemonade, or any other frozen juice concentrate to make different flavors.
- Use different extracts or yogurt flavors for some different flavors!
- Make this vegan or dairy-free by using non-dairy milk. Try canned coconut milk (the creamy ones!) or vegan yogurt.
Common Questions
Is this gluten free?
All the ingredients used for these orange creamsicle popsicles are naturally gluten-free. If you're looking to make these as a treat to share, always double-check the ingredients in case of cross-contamination.
What blender should I use?
To be honest, any blender would work for this recipe. Since we are simply blending a few ingredients, a high-speed one will make the process faster but a regular blender works just as well.
What if I don't have a popsicle mold?
Try using small paper cups! Place the popsicle sticks in the orange creamsicle popsicles after they've had 30 minutes or so to firm up enough to hold the stick up.
