Updated specifications of AMD Godavari APUs
May 26, 2015: It's been more than three months since the leak of preliminaryspecifications of Godavari APUs, and we decided to re-visit theirspecs based on information that we collected on motherboardmanufacturers' websites. The original specifications, publishedby the Chinese VR-Zone website, did not have GPU clock information for severalmodels. Also, some GPU base and turbo frequencies looked questionable,as they were lower than expected based on their APU model number.
AMD A10-7870K APU: a few extra details
May 26, 2015: We managed to run AMD A10-7870K APU on ASRock FM2A88M Extreme4+motherboard with the latest P2.50 BIOS installed, and take CPU-z andGPU-z screenshots to confirm part specifications. To make it easier tosee the differences between the former flagship A10-7850K and newA10-7870K models we arranged their CPU-z screenshots side-by-side.

The a10 can handle 4Ghz at1.3v with no problems
It almost always runs overvolted

My specimen gets up to 92 degrees under full load, 64 while just sitting idle on default settings (3.9GHz, 4.1GHz turbo, 866MHz graphics clock, default voltage up to 1.48V), but when I set 4.1GHz as the normal (non turbo, as I disabled it to avoid unstability) max CPU speed and the Graphics clock to 1.0GHz (opposed to 866MHz) it runs at a max temp of 83 degrees under full load (Graphics + CPU) and a minimum of 45 degrees when sitting idle, all of this without performance loss and without tweaking voltage.
On most cases this CPU runs overvolted, I remember seeing a guy that overclocked this specific CPU up to 4.7GHz without changing the voltage at all, and without performance loss.
Note that my temps were taken when using the stock heatsink and a open pc case, ambient temps were 28 degrees.
